Installation

Install from Google Workspace Marketplace

Instructions

The app is straightforward to use. Select a row and a column for the grid layout you want to create, add the gap and margin, then pick a type of element to insert them to the active slide.

  • Rows: the rows of the grid layout
  • Columns: the columns of the grid layout
  • Gap Between Shapes: the space between shapes in the layout in points
  • Margin to Page: the margin to the page in points
  • Element Type: select the type of element you want to use

Tips

  • You can select an element on the slide as the page reference to create another grid layout
  • When an element is selected, the margin to the page will be ignored
  • You can use layout 1x1 to replace the selected element with another element type
  • You can create a grid layout and then use Google Map Image to insert Google Maps as images

Example: insert “Paris”, “New York”, and “Tokyo” to replace the elements in the layout. Check the details here about the feature.
